We are seeking a trusted finance business partner to join Autodesk’s Worldwide Sales Finance team. The ideal candidate will be the co-pilot who helps steer Autodesk towards an effective and efficient go-to-market outreach. This role involves partnering directly with the Japan Sales VP and the sales team, managing the annual business planning process, driving the weekly forecast process, analyzing business performance and trends, providing deal support, and leading cross-functional teams to close fiscal quarters. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment, and business development, preferably in a software company. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI are required, along with hands-on experience with financial software. The candidate should be articulate, concise, and have strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA is a plus). Responsibilities: - Partnering directly with Japan Sales VP as a member of line management staff - Managing Annual Business planning process, allocating the targets, and creating quotas for the Japan territory sales Reps - Driving Weekly forecast process for Japan territory sales team across all segments - Analyzing business performance and trends to proactively provide business insights and advice to sales leaders - Co-leading with Sales VP to drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plans - Providing deal support in partnership with Deal Operations to develop agreements and agreement proposals - Assisting process improvement for Japan team’s pipeline management through salesforce.com - Leading the cross-functional teams to close fiscal quarters - Managing the OPEX budget (headcount and variable) for the Japan territory sales team - Build relationships with broader groups such as Legal, Client services, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales Teams - Playing the key role for compliance and fiduciary
