SIRIS is currently looking for a Construction Project Engineer to join our team for an exciting high-rise mixed-use development project in Columbus, Ohio. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in our team, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager. You will work closely with client staff to gather and provide data, generate reports, and serve as a representative for the client on various aspects of the project, including major construction, seismic, real property, and other special projects.
Additionally, the Project Engineer will support CM @ Risk and Design/Build contracts, encompassing pre-design, construction, financial monitoring, progress meetings, issue resolution, testing, and claims analysis.
✅ Skills and experience.
• Possesses a higher education degree or 5+ years of experience within the construction industry. Candidates must provide a detailed project list to prove their experience.
✅ Responsibilities:
- Partaking in implementing Quality Assurance, Time, Cost, Change, and Information Management.
- Monitoring the construction of Quality Assurance.
- Preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the contractor's work in relationship with the construction documents.
- Understand the baseline schedule and assist in determining the value of the acceptable work in place.
- Use software to monitor, update, produce work products, and compile data and records.

• Experience with developer-led projects.
• Experience with ground-up or high-rise facilities.
• Experience in hospitality, luxury apartments, luxury clubs, etc.
• Construction-related certifications.
• Ability to navigate AutoCAD/REVIT, Primavera 6, RS Means, and other cost-estimating software.
• Entrepreneurial or community service background.
