We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce to join our team. As a Sr. Salesforce Engineer at Nava, you will work on cross-functional teams to build scalable systems for government, designing, implementing, and delivering services that millions of Americans depend on. You will be responsible for developing end-to-end systems for one of Nava's major government partners, modernizing an existing legacy enterprise platform to improve its public facing processes and experiences. Responsibilities:
- Lead fellow Nava engineers to design, review, and build well-crafted software.
- Collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements to existing systems.
- Lead in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features that meet user needs.
- Create tools and processes to automate our development, testing, and production workflows.
- Collaborate on writing and reviewing technical documentation.
- Design and implement complex software, scope projects.
- Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases.
- Prioritize, define, and collaborate on work across the tech team to ensure quality while meeting timeline goals.
- Assist in developing the overall vision for our Salesforce updating and integration.
- Implement merge of two similar, but distinct, Salesforce orgs.
- Integrate with external data sources.
- Consolidate and improve the separate data models from each org into a cohesive whole that can scale with the organization.
- Analyze existing Apex code and determine what should be kept, rewritten, or moved to a Flow.
- Analyze existing Flows and code and consolidate into a thought-out set of flows and code that are logically grouped and represent current business processes.
