About the teamThe Client Experience Operations (CXO) team is focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of client support agents. We’re looking for a Staff Designer who thrives at the intersection of systems, experience, and technology — someone eager to shape how our teams and clients interact through intuitive, AI-powered tools.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:Own and lead CXO design, contributing to conversations and direction of the product roadmap and strategy.Partner closely with engineering, data science, and product management to find refined but practical solutions to design challenges.Lead design for internal and client-facing AI-powered tools that empower our customer experience agents and improve client interactions.Create multiple concepts and prototypes, recognizing when meticulous attention to detail is needed and when low-fidelity sketches are adequate for visualizing ideas.Listen to users to develop the right product strategy and find solutions that delight our customers.Leverage data to inform your design solutions.Understand the strategic direction and vision for your working areas and ensure all UX efforts are aligned with that direction.Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in customer experience tooling and AI-powered solutions.Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into our product design.What you’ll bring:Track record of systems design and strong UX-thinkingPassion and knowledge of AI tools and AI workflowsProven ability to turn complex problems into simple experiences.Strong collaboration skills across design, product, and engineering to ship high-quality experiences quickly and at scale.Can effectively communicate ideas and project direction to internal teams and stakeholders.Experience leading user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.Ability to work independently, biasing towards action to drive projects forward.Knowledge and interest in front-end technologiesWhy Wealthsimple?🤑 Competitive salary with top-tier health benefits and life insurance📈 Retirement savings matching plan using Wealthsimple for Business🌴 20 vacation days per year and unlimited sick and mental health days📚 Up to $1,500 per year towards wellness and professional development budgets respectively🛫 90 days away program: Employees can work internationally in eligible countries for up to 90 days per calendar year🌎 A wide variety of peer and company-led Employee Resource Groups (ie.
