What you'll be doing:Work closely with the satellite sub-system teams to design satellite structures and mechanismsBe a CAD modeling expert (SolidWorks) managing your CAD assemblies and drawingsDevelop build documents and drawings for your hardwareDefine, build and test your designs from 3D printed engineering units to flight hardwareSupport the fabrication assembly and testing of our flight buildWhat you will bring to this role:At least 5 years of hands-on experience using your CAD skills to develop and build models and drawingsExperience successfully implementing your design solutions in a complex spaceExperience with mechanical design to survive extreme environments and challenging mass constraintsSalary range$90,000 - $150,000 a yearThe estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors.
