Retail Merchandiser Position SummaryOur Retail Merchandisers are professional ambassadors. They help bring our client’s food to grocery store shelves. In this role you will learn about those products, our customers and how we bring them together achieving sales growth and flawless execution of a merchandising plan. You will do all this in an independent role that requires solid communication skills and self-motivation; we’ll teach you the rest!Essential FunctionsTravel to retail locationsEffectively merchandise our brands products through:Plan-O-Gram executionShelf space managementPromotional, pricing, and new item placement compliancePlace weekly orders to keep our products filled and maximize store sales.Store visit recaps and follow-upsDevelop, support, train, and implement merchandising directivesDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with the departments staff and store managers.Provide on-going feedback of store level performanceMonitor and report competitor activity at store levelManage the effective integration and utilization of Affinity technology systems and platformsAdditional duties as assignedPhysical Requirements / Working ConditionsAbility to lift 30lbs to shoulder height unassistedFloor stock rotations of refrigerated and frozen food items in cooler and freezer cases.Inspection and moving of product in cooler and freezer and storage areasReliable transportation for daily visits to store/venue locationsPerksMonthly auto allowance, gas reimbursement, PTO, flexible schedule, independence in day-to-day work, bonus opportunity.
