We’re looking for a Benefit Service Center Associate to join our remote team at Employee Family Protection, Inc. — and we’re looking for someone who knows insurance, understands employee benefits, and genuinely enjoys figuring things out.In this role, you’re not just answering questions. You’re helping employees make sense of their coverage, working through claims and carrier issues, guiding them through enrollment and life events, and making sure they don’t get left wondering, “Okay…now what?”What you’ll actually do:Handle inbound and outbound calls from current and prospective client employeesInvestigate benefit and coverage questions and follow issues through to resolutionWork directly with employees, employers, insurance carriers, and brokersCreate, track, and close service ticketsExplain medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, wellness programs, and consumer accountsProvide step-by-step enrollment assistance, including qualifying life eventsHelp employees navigate claims and understand their Explanation of Benefits (EOB)Provide guidance on COBRA, ACA notices, dependent verification, and plan documentationSupport employees through phone, email, and live chatWhat you’ll bring:Insurance and/or worksite benefits experienceCall center/customer service experienceActive resident-state Health & Life insurance licenseStrong communication and active-listening skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detailAbility to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with benefits education, enrollment assistance, claims and coverage support, and compliance/documentationAbility to work independently while being part of a teamBilingual skills preferredAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceIf you’re already the person everyone comes to when they can’t figure out their benefits, you might as well get paid to do it.Remote opportunityInsurance & employee benefitsProblem-solving + client supportInterested?
