Responsibilities
A UK-Based FinTech Company.Job Description:The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Perform journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports.Ensure compliance with ASPE accounting standards.Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Run payroll processing.Supervise bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.Monitor the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist with preparation and filing of:GST/HST returnsCorporate income tax support (T2 schedules)Payroll remittances (CPP, EI, Income Tax)Supervise and mentor accounting staff.Review work performed by accounting clerks and junior accountants.Provide training and performance feedback.Assign and monitor tasks to ensure deadlines are met.Edit documents for Loan proposesExperience: 4+ yearsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally ERP, or SAP.Good skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reports.Understanding of tax regulations such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other local taxes.Ability to prepare financial statements, invoices, and bank reconciliations.Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to work with accounts payable and accounts receivableOther Details:Work Timings: 7:00pm to 1:00amWork Days: Monday- FridayWork Mode: RemoteLocation: PakistanBenefits: Tax-Free Base SalaryAbout HR Ways:HR Ways is an Award winning Technical Recruitment Firm helping software houses and IT Product companies internationally and locally to find IT Talent.
