About the RoleFamily Office is looking for an experienced finance professional for the position of Financial Controller, who will take ownership of building and developing financial processes, ensuring accuracy of accounting operations, timely reporting, and financial controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage accounting operations for several companies across different jurisdictionsBuild financial controlling processes from scratch where none currently exist, and continuously refine and adapt them as the business grows and evolvesDesign, implement, and continuously improve internal financial control proceduresMonthly financial reportingManage and support external auditsRespond promptly to finance-related questions and requests from the CEO / Head of FinanceEffectively manage external consultants and legal advisorsRequirements5+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or treasury, including IFRSBIG-4 experience is highly preferredProven, hands-on experience building financial controlling processes from the ground up, and subsequently adapting/evolving them as the business develops (not just maintaining existing processes)Very strong understanding of accounting principles; deep technical knowledge, not just operational executionACCA (ideally completed or near-completed professional level papers) is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFast learner, comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environmentAbility to effectively manage external consultants and legal advisorsEnglish — Upper-Intermediate or higherRussian — Upper-Intermediate or higherBenefitsFully remote work, giving you the freedom to work from anywhere.Opportunity to be a part of a high-performance team.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.Fully sponsored team-buildings 1-2 times per year in stunning destinations around the world.
