About the RoleSeeking.com is the world's largest premium dating platform, and we are in the middle of the most important chapter of our brand transformation.From week one you will be drafting pitches, tracking media coverage, supporting the casting of Seeking members for press interviews, building media lists, and pitching journalists.This is the right role for an ambitious coordinator who wants to be promoted to PR specialist in two to three years, and who knows that the way to get there is by doing the work.Core ResponsibilitiesPR Operations & Media SupportSupport drafting press releases, media alerts, pitch emails, Q&As, fact sheets, executive bios, and briefing documents for review by the Senior PR Manager and PR SpecialistSupport incoming media requests by gathering information and routing approvals internallyMaintain media lists, pitch calendars, and journalist contact databasesMaintain personal media-readiness: keep talking points current and be comfortable on camera and in audioMonitor and organize daily media coverage; prepare summaries and internal reportsResearch journalists, influencers, podcasts, and media opportunities relevant to the brandSupport outreach efforts to media contacts and influencers under the Senior PR Manager's and PR Specialist's directionHelp create media kits, fact sheets, executive bios, Q&As, and briefing documentsTrack competitor PR activity and flag interesting items to the teamHelp coordinate award submissions and speaking opportunitiesIdentify PR opportunities through Qwoted, HARO, and similar platforms dailySurface trending topics and cultural conversations the team should consider hijackingFlag potential reputation or media risks to the Senior PR Manager when identifiedMember Casting & Storyteller Book SupportOwn the day-to-day operations of the Seeking member casting book under management's reviewPrepare member briefing packets ahead of press interviews (outlet, journalist, angle, talking points)Help match members to journalist interview requests and coordinate availabilityManage NDAs, consent forms, and post-interview follow-ups for member intervieweesAgency & Cross-Functional CoordinationSupport day-to-day communication with our outside agency partners in the UK and USSchedule meetings and maintain calendars for PR initiativesTrack deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-up items across projectsSurface agency performance issues to the manager early and with specificsMarketing Operations & Administrative SupportCreate and update Jira tickets and maintain organized project workflowsGather materials and agenda items for team meetingsMaintain calendars, trackers, and shared planning documentsUpdate SOPs and process documentation for recurring workflowsSupport integrated campaign coordination across PR, creative, social, and digital teamsMaintain PR asset libraries: approved imagery, messaging documents, and executive materialsProofread communications for grammar, formatting, tone, and brand consistencyMedia Monitoring & ReportingMonitor daily media coverage across digital, print, broadcast, and social channelsCompile media coverage reports and basic PR performance metricsTrack media outreach activity and coverage opportunities in internal systemsSupport coordination of interviews, press opportunities, and media activationsHelp prepare weekly and monthly reporting summaries for leadershipRequired Qualifications1 to 2 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, media, or related roles (internships count)Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent track recordPublished clips from a school paper, magazine, blog, or newsletterStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyFamiliarity with PR and project management tools preferred (Google Alerts, Muck Rack, Cision; Jira, Asana, or Monday; Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)Understanding of AP style and professional communications standardsCollaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsInternship or junior agency experience in PR, communications, or mediaAI fluency.
