Growing together.The Director, Clinical Strategy Lead, serves as a trusted advisor to GPO Members, combining clinical expertise, formulary knowledge, and financial modeling capabilities to optimize pharmacy strategies and maximize value. This role supports GPO Members through formulary scenario analyses, rebate optimization initiatives, utilization management assessments, and pharmaceutical contracting insights, helping the member optimize formulary performance, maximize financial value, and achieve their clinical and business objectives.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Deliver value to GPO Members through consultative engagements and partners closely with Account Management, Strategy, Contracting, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver actionable recommendations supported by clinical evidence, market intelligence, and financial impact analysesApply clinical, financial, and business expertise to develop and execute formulary scenario analyses, rebate optimization models, and strategic recommendationsPartner with GPO Clinical Consultants to evaluate member formularies, utilization management criteria, and benefit designs, providing recommendations that optimize clinical outcomes and rebate performanceAnalyze the clinical and financial implications of formulary changes, preferred product strategies, biosimilar adoption, therapeutic interchange opportunities, and utilization management programsRead, interpret, and apply provisions within GPO agreements to support member decision-making and contracting strategiesAccess and utilize pricing, formulary, claims, billing, and utilization databases to generate actionable insights and recommendationsDevelop, execute, and interpret utilization, spend, rebate, and trend analyses to identify cost-savings opportunities and improve rebate realizationCommunicate complex clinical, contracting, and financial concepts effectively to both clinical and non-clinical audiencesServe as a subject matter expert on assigned therapeutic classes, market trends, and pharmaceutical contracting strategiesPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and
