About the RoleAs a Senior R&D Intelligence Analyst at Hyland, you'll sit at the intersection of business strategy and data analytics — transforming existing data and reports into insights that drive real decisions. You'll partner closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and analytics engineers to answer the questions that matter most: where to invest, where to improve, and where the next opportunity is hiding in the data. If you're naturally curious, energized by ambiguity, and skilled at uncovering patterns others miss, this role is for you.Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll DoExplore existing data models and reports to surface trends, correlations, anomalies, and opportunities the organization is not yet seeingTackle open-ended business questions — such as how AI is impacting engineering throughput or where defect hotspots exist — and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations tailored to non-technical audiencesAct as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Analytics Engineers, leading discovery conversations to elicit, challenge, refine, and document requirements that often start vague or incompleteBuild and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses in Power BI on top of data models curated in Microsoft FabricWrite SQL or PySpark in Fabric notebooks to profile data, prototype analyses, and validate outputsValidate report outputs, maintain user-facing documentation including metric definitions and report guides, and coach stakeholders on how to effectively use and interpret reportsTechnology ToolsPower BIMicrosoft FabricSQL / PySparkRole Essentials — What You'll NeedDemonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations that have influenced real business outcomes — not just chartsWorking knowledge of SQL and/or Python/PySpark for data exploration and prototypingHands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or an equivalent BI platformSolid understanding of relational data, data warehouses, and lakehouse conceptsStrong communication skills with the ability to tell a clear, compelling story to non-technical audiences and engage constructively with stakeholdersWhat We'd Like to SeeStrong business acumen with genuine curiosity about how product and engineering organizations work — including investment decisions, product lifecycle, delivery, quality, and customer adoptionHands-on experience with engineering and product metrics such as DORA, throughput, escaped defects, ARR, retention, or adoptionExperience using Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar collaboration and development toolsComfort with ambiguity — the ability to take a half-formed question, engage stakeholders, and return with a sharper, well-defined analysisSelf-directed and proactive working style with the ability to start adding value without fully written instructionsCompensationThis role offers a salary range of 175,000 – 230,000 PLN gross per year, based on experience and qualifications.About HylandHyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation. © Hyland.
