This position includes collecting outstanding balances, providing needed documentation, coordinating the resolution of disputed invoices, and escalating high-risk customer accounts when necessary. Key ResponsibilitiesReview workers’ compensation claim files, medical reports, accident descriptions, and employer documentation to determine potential third-party liability.Research and analyze facts of loss, liability, and coverage details to assess subrogation viability and recovery potential.Identify and document responsible third parties, including employers, contractors, product manufacturers, and others involved in the loss.Conduct thorough background and claims research using internal systems.Participate in team discussions and process improvement initiatives to enhance subrogation research efficiency.Ensure compliance with client guidelines, company policies, and state-specific workers’ compensation and subrogation regulations.Perform internal quality reviews to verify the accuracy and completeness of research and documentation.Protect the confidentiality of sensitive claim and client data in accordance with legal and ethical standards.Qualifications and Requirements1+ years of experience in subrogation, insurance claims analysis, or workers’ compensation preferred.General knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, lien rights, and third-party liability principles.Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to evaluate complex claim information and identify recovery potential.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting.Compensation and Benefits: $45-50k (DOE) annually Benefits package with health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options401(k) retirement plan option with company matchingGenerous paid time off policy - start with 18 days per yearPaid holidays immediately upon hire - 7 standard holidays & 2 floating holidays of your choiceWe look forward to you joining our team!
