The engineer will deliver complex content management solutions to customers and be able to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team. They will participate in the implementation of a large enterprise AEM initiatives and will be responsible for design and development of web applications using the AEM platform, including, but not limited to, designing and developing site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), implementation strategy, and unit testing.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Available for some travel throughout the planning phases of the projectWork alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers and architects, and product developersDevelop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM (Adobe CQ) and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web servicesDiscover, design, and build highly interactive interfaces and content that keep users engaged and build positive brand equity at every possible point in the user experienceSlice, mark-up, and script interfaces and content on content managed, responsive websites / systems that work flawlessly on desktop, tablet, phone, and other devicesWork with Adobe Experience Manager (CQ5 and AEM6) as well as other CMSAbility to work closely with back end developers to produce solutions and smooth integrationsWork directly with servers and server-side: AJAX, JSSetup and configuration of AEM Author and Publish instances and ensuring all code works in both environmentsSetup and configuration of dispatcher or proxy to run in front of AEMTranslating business requirements into technical details relevant to AEMDesigning reusable AEM components for authoring contentProvide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUMCreate events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)Leveraging APIs / Web Services and content of all types (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)Delivering product and apps that are based on pre-existing wireframes, designs, or other client requirementsAssist clients in achieving strategic objectives through technology solution implementationREQUIREMENTS:Hands on experience with Front End frameworksMust have Node.js experienceMVC Frameworks (React preferred) - Equal balancing of the model and controller aspects of MVC as opposed to just the view3-5 years of web content management system experience working with one or more CMS packages, including Adobe CQ5 (AEM) version 5.3 or aboveWorking knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSSIntermediate to advanced JavaScript principles and fundamentalsHTML, JSP, HTL (and other templating languages)Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commandsBootstrap 3CSS Preprocessors (LESS / SASS)Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlinesBachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industryPREFERRED SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES:Strong Java/J2EE/JSP experience – developing large system applicationsAJAX, JSONREST / SOAP Web ServicesSightly/HTL experienceAbout Blue Acorn iCiBlue Acorn iCi, a business unit of Infosys Nova Holdings, LLC, is a digital experience partner helping global brands design, build, and optimize the future of customer engagement.
