Requirements and responsibilities

Job Duties: - Provide legal representation in a variety of personal injury defense cases. - Manage cases efficiently, including legal research and drafting legal documents. - Associates can expect a caseload of approximately 20-30 matters. - Consult with clients, explain options, and maintain strong relationships. - Draft precise legal documents and deliver persuasive oral presentations. - Participate in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediation. - Develop effective legal strategies and collaborate with the team. Candidate Parameters: - 2-5 years of personal injury defense or insurance defense experience, including billing experience. - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. - Actively barred and in good standing in California. Work Expectations & Schedule: - 1,800 annual minimum billable hours. - Bonuses begin at 2,000+ hours. - Fully remote. - Flexible schedule. Compensation: - $150,000 - $170,000 + discretionary production bonuses. Origination Bonus: - 25% of all fees generated, excluding any costs paid by the firm.
