Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Cognigy (Conversational AI) QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to test and validate enterprise conversational AI solutions built on the Cognigy.AI platform. The ideal candidate should have experience validation, conversational flow testing, and functional as well as regression testing to ensure high-quality AI-driven customer experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Cognigy.AI chatbots and virtual assistants.Validate conversational flows, intents, entities, context management, and NLP/NLU behavior.Test chatbot integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, CRM systems, and third-party applications.Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.Validate chatbot responses across multiple communication channels.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality releases.Participate duction validation, and release testing.Required Skills3–5 years of experience in Software Testing/QA.Hands-on experience testing Cognigy.AI or similar Conversational AI platforms.Strong understanding of chatbot testing, conversational flow validation, and NLP/NLU concepts.Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Familiarity with SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Preferred SkillsExperience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.Exposure to Azure, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Azure OpenAI.Experience testing integrations with Microsoft Teams, Twilio, WhatsApp, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Amazon Connect.Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Node.js is an added advantage.QualificationsBachelor's degree ormation Technology, or a related field.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
