This individual works as part of the interdisciplinary team and is supported by the Shared Services Manager. They will be responsible for administrative support of the clinical staff.This is a critical role and we're looking to fill it as soon as possible.What you’ll doAnswers calls and route all incoming correspondence to appropriate staffRequests and obtains patient recordsCorresponds with outside providers as requested Plays an active role with the Interdisciplinary team, ensuring all care coordination activities/needs are communicated back to the teamSupports patients and team members with use of videoconference technology Maintains up to date patient health records in the Electronic Medical Record system and Vynca data systemsSchedules HV/VC visits for the clinical teamCreates new patient packetsAssists with TARS/Authorizations and communication with pharmaciesCoordinates transportation for patient medical appointments with contracted transportation companies and payersAssists in the smooth day to day running of the officeMonitors and requests the ordering of office supplies Your experience & qualificationsCurrent CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group 18 months of previous clinical experience1+ years of insurance and billing experienceWilling and able to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern Time, with the possibility of overtime if neededRelevant professional experience in a healthcare settingExcellent oral and written communication skillsPositive interpersonal and telephone skillsMust have general computer skills and demonstrated ability to navigate the internetThe passion and energy to handle complex situationsMust work well in a team setting requiring a high level of collaborationAt this time we are only considering applicants in the following states:California, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah and Washington.Additional InformationThe hiring process for this role may consist of applying, followed by a phone screen, online assessment(s), interview(s), an offer, and background/reference checks.Background Screening: A background check, which may include a drug test or other health screenings depending on the role, will be required prior to employment.Job Description Scope: This job description is not exhaustive and may include additional activities, duties, and responsibilities not listed herein.Vaccination Requirement: Employees in patient, client, or customer-facing roles must be vaccinated against influenza.
