Requirements and responsibilities

Knowledge & SkillsComprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from onboarding and setup through to daily transaction processing and reporting.Understanding of Trade Finance operations.Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to Trade Finance.Experience with test data management for financial testing, including the creation of synthetic financial data sets that accurately represent production scenarios.Knowledge of reconciliation processes and the ability to validate end-of-day balances, transaction histories, and statement generation.Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent testing streams.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field.ISTQB Foundation Level certification required; ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Manager strongly preferred.Domain-specific certifications in Trade Finance (as an advantage).Preferred Experience:8+ years of QA experience in banking, with at least 3 years dedicated to Trade Finance systems, and a proven record of independently leading test teams and end-to-end test delivery – owning test strategy, planning, estimation, defect governance, and stakeholder reporting.Proven track record testing front-end digital portals and complex core banking integrations.Proven track record of testing complex financial integrations, including SWIFT messaging, local clearing networks, and Core Banking system integrations (Temenos T24).Demonstrated experience in designing and executing end-to-end test scenarios for multi-system, multi-channel financial workflows.Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts.Exposure to test automation frameworks and scripting for financial testing scenarios.Experience supporting regulatory compliance testing and audit evidence preparation in a banking context.Technical CompetenciesDeep domain expertise in Trade Finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Bills, Trade Loans, Murabaha).Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging standards and ICC guidelines (UCP 600, URDG 758).Experience testing web/mobile portals and integration with BPM/Workflow engines (e.g., Newgen) and Core Banking systems (Temenos T24).Proficiency in API testing (Postman/SoapUI) and test management tools (JIRA/ALM).Knowledge of RBAC, security testing principles, and compliance screening workflows🔹 Experience: 8+ years🔹 Location: Remote🔹 Notice Period: Immediate to 1 month preferred📩 Interested candidates, share your resume at: allu@finessedirect.com
