As the primary contact with our employer customers, the Account Manager uses data to understand Gravie’s client needs and suggest strategic opportunities to inform renewals and growth opportunities. Building strong relationships based on a foundation of trust and expertise in health insurance and employer benefits is your specialty. You enjoy helping people find solutions and answers to their tough questions, and you can explain complex subjects to a variety of audiences.You Will:Work cross functionally with a dedicated Account Management team, including, underwriting, Sales, and leadership support to ensure proactive, end to end, and ongoing ownership and accountability for each clientBe well versed in client data and prepared to partner with clients on strategic recommendations to inform renewals and growth opportunitiesUse data to develop strategic account plans for clients to evaluate business needs and, as needed, make recommendations for changes to Gravie’s benefit solutionsFacilitate kick-off meetings with employers’s populations, meet with clients regularly, and ensure you are providing accurate and timely answers to clients questionsConduct monthly reviews of each client's claims experience, providing updates and recommendations for cost savingsPlan for and present quarterly progress reports on goals to the client and brokerConduct proactive and data driven mid-Year Pulse Checks focused on intervention strategies, renewal planning, and performance optimizationPresent strategic renewal proposals to clients and negotiate rates as needed, working directly with the Underwriting Team and leadership to ensure a successful renewalBe knowledgeable about Gravies marketing campaigns in order to leverage accounts to strategically upsell Gravie products based on utilizationBe knowledgeable of all Gravie offerings and the regulatory and compliance requirements of each offering and continuously educate clients about Gravie’s products and servicesEnsure new employer clients have a smooth transition from sales and have a successful new client implementation experienceResearch and resolve client issues and elevated member issues from Gravie’s advisor team, ensuring resolution is taking in account the “full picture” of the clientEffectively use and document client information in our CRM systemYou Bring:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relationship or account management fieldMust be licensed in health insurance in your home state3+ years of account management experience in the health insurance industry2+ years experience using data to gain insights and make strategic recommendations  Experience working in a dynamic environment and comfort researching and solving problems with minimal guidance3+ years of experience working collaboratively across several teams and functionsExtra credit:· Previous start-up or emerging growth company experience· Experience with self-insured health plans· Experience establishing processes and standards for superior customer serviceA Little More About Us:We know healthcare.
