We’re seeking like-minded professionals who embody Islamic values including sincerity, excellence, and compassion, and want to make a difference in the faith of people worldwide.About the roleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for our core content products– with the majority of work devoted to Yaqeen Curriculum but also providing assistance with Books, Papers, Blogs, Hashiya, and Data Studies, ensuring their seamless integration and ongoing management on our digital platforms. This role combines project management with content operations, CMS oversight, and digital publishing to support the efficient delivery of high-quality, accessible, and high-impact content.What you'll doProject Management & DeliveryManage the project delivery of curriculum materials, including lesson plans, resources, assessments, and multimedia assetsEnsure curriculum is edited, formatted, and approved according to internal quality standardsCoordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and content creators to facilitate workflows and meet deadlinesWork with product managers and squad members to develop project schedules and delivery timelines, manage task assignments, track progress, and facilitate scope adjustments as neededParticipate in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions to align content product roadmaps with portfolio priorities, identify cross-team dependencies, and commit to delivery objectives that support organizational goalsLead squad stand-ups, sprint planning calls, and retros to track progress, keep teams organized, and ensure output is predictableCoordinate the handoff of content and assets between key stakeholders through all functional stages of the workflowMaintain visibility into portfolio-level initiatives and ensure content projects are sequenced and resourced to support broader strategic objectivesTrack project spend against approved budgets and flag variances to leadershipCross-Platform Distribution & ImpactCoordinate with marketing and media teams to ensure content is optimized and packaged for distribution across channels (organic search, social media, email, partner platforms, mobile apps)Work with product managers to define content release strategies that maximize reach and engagementTrack content delivery against engagement and impact metrics; surface insights to inform future content prioritizationFacilitate integration of content assets with external platforms and partners to extend audience reachEnsure content handoffs to marketing include all necessary assets, metadata, and context for effective promotionWebsite & Content ManagementOversee the uploading, structuring, and deployment of curriculum content on the website using a Content Management System (CMS), ensuring alignment with content strategy defined by product managersEnsure all published content is accurate, accessible, and adheres to brand, UX, and SEO guidelinesCollaborate with web developers and UX teams to optimize the presentation and navigation of curriculum materialsCMS AdministrationManage publishing workflows for content staging, review, and deployment in the CMS (e.g., WordPress)Maintain content taxonomies, metadata, version control, and publishing standardsCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation of CMS processes, procedures, and user guidesStay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content management and product executionCross-functional Collaboration & CommunicationManage stakeholder expectations by communicating project timelines, dependencies, and risks in a timely and transparent mannerProvide project status updates to leadership and stakeholders during sprint planning and review meetingsMediate discussions to create shared ownership among cross-functional teams in order to maintain project momentum and avoid schedule interruptionsCollaborate with marketing, media, and growth teams to align content release schedules with promotional campaigns and audience engagement strategies. Support resource and capacity planning for content squads, flagging constraints and recommending allocation adjustmentsCoordinate with external contractors, freelancers, or agency partners as needed to supplement content production capacityPlan and organize demos and product testing sessions with stakeholders to gather feedbackQuality Assurance & OptimizationConduct QA checks to ensure published content is free of errors, follows best practices, and is responsive across devicesIdentify, recommend and implement process improvements for content production, publishing, and web maintenancePartner with analytics and product teams to assess content performance post-launch and incorporate learnings into future project planningSupport content updates and maintenance post-launch as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredCertifications:Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) – Scrum Alliance (Preferred)Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI (Preferred)5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects in an Agile environment with a proven record of delivering digital or publishing projects on time and within scopeDeep knowledge of managing content, workflows and user permissions within a CMSExperience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and participation in Program Increment planning preferredExperience writing project requirements for content projects and toolsExperience coordinating the efforts of subject matter experts, engineers, marketers, product managers, and designersWorking knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques and frameworks, such as Scrum, to structure and deliver solutionsExperience managing project timelines, risk mitigation and dependency managementSkilled in facilitating communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on execution, scope constraints, and delivery expectationsProficiency in facilitating and driving consistency across all Agile ceremonies (program increments, portfolio planning, goals setting, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily scrums)Familiarity with multi-channel content distribution (social, email, app, organic search) and marketing coordination a plusProficiency with modern project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp)Diversity & InclusionYaqeen Institute embraces a philosophy that values and promotes diversity.
