Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior IBM Maximo Consultant with more than 8 years of experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) for our organization. This role involves collaborating with business teams to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and optimize asset management processes. It requires a combination of technical expertise and a deep understanding of asset management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the configuration of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) solutions, including modules for asset management, work management, inventory, and predictive maintenance.
* Customize MAS to meet client-specific requirements by setting up workflows, custom reports, and system integrations.
* Integrate MAS with other enterprise applications to ensure seamless data flow and enhance operational efficiency, including the configuration of the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
* Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend system improvements to enhance asset management and maintenance operations.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational needs, and provide guidance on leveraging MAS to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
* Provide user training and ongoing technical support for MAS users, resolving issues efficiently.
* Oversee regular maintenance and version upgrades of the MAS platform to ensure system stability and access to the latest features.
* Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations within MAS.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Maximo Asset Management (version 7.x or later).
* Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
* Expertise in IBM MAS modules including Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Predictive Maintenance, Maximo Mobile, Maximo Health, Maximo Monitor, Visual Inspection, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
* Experience configuring and customizing Maximo modules to align with business needs.
* Proficient understanding of IBM Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for third-party integrations.
* Strong knowledge of system administration, workflows, and scripting in Maximo.
* Proficiency in database management (SQL) and report generation.
* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
* IBM Maximo Application Suite certifications.
* Experience with cloud-based deployments, particularly IBM Cloud.
* Knowledge of predictive analytics in asset management.
* Experience in industries such as utilities and infrastructure management.
