As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be a part of an agile team. You will be working closely with the Team lead / Principal engineer and the Developers. We enjoy working in a team with curious, persistent, logical, and clever people who like developing elegant solutions to complex problems. 🎯 About your role/responsibilities: -Design test cases based on the requirements/acceptance criteria. -Code automated tests within an existing test automation framework and perform test automation code reviews. -Running test suites for a given release and appropriate reporting. -Perform necessary CI/CD and TAF configuration. -Work with the development team to ensure quality. -Work with the PO to ensure Stories / PBIs are groomed to be testable. -Perform exploratory and performance testing as appropriate. 🎯 Technical Sprint Planning: -Works with the Product Owner to ensure requirements are captured correctly. -Assures user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, objective, deterministic and testable. -Accountable for outlining detailed testing tasks (+ resulting estimates) during sprint planning. -Works with the developers to analyze and resolve defects. -Asks the right questions (to developers, PMs), at the right time, to proactively avoid quality risk. -Engages with developers to outline how a solution design results in dependency impact. 🎯 Tech stack: -Database: Postgres. -Back-end: Java 11. -Automation Frameworks and Libraries: JUnit, TestNG, Wiremock, ZeroCode, Rest Assured. -General dev tools: Docker, AWS, Maven. -Backlog Management and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence. -Code Repository: GitLab. -Build Server (CI/CD): GitLab. 🎯 This is a job opening from Forte Group.
