U.S. Representative Becca Balint is seeking a legal fellow for fall 2026 to work with her legislative team. The fellow will work closely with the office’s senior counsel and other staff.Duties will entail conducting legal research, drafting materials related to hearings and votes, helping prepare the Congresswoman for committee meetings, and providing other assistance as needed. Issue areas will include administrative law, antitrust, constitutional law, criminal justice, gun violence prevention, voting rights, immigration, intellectual property, privacy, financial services, and women’s issues/reproductive rights.This fellowship is unpaid and should be done for academic credit. Part-time applicants will be considered, a minimum of 16 hours/week is required. Location is flexible, remote work is encouraged except for in-person committee hearings and markups.
