Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Provide accurate and impartial interpretation between Ukrainian and English during live medical conversations. - Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff via phone and video interpreting (OPI/VRI). - Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards. - Accurately convey meaning, tone, and intent without adding or omitting information. - Handle sensitive healthcare conversations with professionalism and empathy. - Follow company policies, quality standards, and interpreter protocols. - Participate in training and ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: - C1 or higher proficiency in both Ukrainian and English. - Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. - Previous interpreting experience is preferred; medical interpreting experience is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment. - Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace. - Strong professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. - Comfortable using online communication platforms and technology. - Availability to work full-time according to agreed schedules aligned with U.S. time zones.
