Requirements and responsibilities
You’ll manage procurement efforts for owner-furnished equipment on data center projects, ensuring compatibility with project design, timelines, and performance goals.You’ll maintaluding OEMs, distributors, and specialty suppliers, for critical infrastructure like generators, chillers, UPS systems, PDUs, CRACs, switchgear, and high-voltage equipment.You’ll assist pping milestones, and on-site delivery coordination alongside construction managers and trade contractors.You’ll contribute to creating bid and leveling packages for OFCI equipment, emphasizing logistics, warranty terms, lead times, total cost, and commissioning requirements.You’ll participate in competitive sourcing for OFCI packages: support drafting RFIs and RFPs, handle vendor inquiries, review proposals, and compile summaries for stakeholder recommendations.You’ll work with internal teams to outline technical and performance requirements for OFCI packages; aid engineers in preparing documentation for accurate vendor scoping.You’ll collaborate with construction, design, and development teams to synchronize OFCI procurement schedules with fast-paced project timelines and construction phases.You’ll joping ensure contracts align with project demands for reliability, uptime, and delivery timelines.You’ll monitor and report on procurement progress across projects, covering commitments, cost impacts, change orders, and remaining exposure.You’ll stay updated on supply chaisting in spotting potential risks to pricing or schedules and proposing solutions.You’ll aid h as delivery delays or commissioning challenges, and support escalation for vendor performance concerns.You’ll help prepare closeout documentation and facilitate warranty onboarding for OFCI assets to ensure a seamless handover to operations and facilities teams.Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.
