About Us:
- Wealth by Design (powered by Cambridge Financial Services) is a fast-growing financial planning practice built for high-earning young professionals — especially physicians and women — navigating complex student loan debt, tax strategy, and long-term wealth building.
- We use a proprietary five-step framework (Map Your Vision, Build Your Strategy, Automate Your System, Protect What's Yours, Keep It Moving) to guide clients from overwhelmed to organized.
- Our practice is growing quickly, and we need an experienced, licensed team member to help us deliver a five-star client experience at scale.
The Role:
- We are looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to support our advisor and strategy team (working alongside our Strategy Build-Out specialists) across the full client lifecycle — from onboarding through ongoing service.
- This role has a clear path to client-facing responsibility: you will start by owning onboarding and service operations, then move into structured client touchpoints (service check-ins, portal walkthroughs, follow-up meetings) within your first 30-60 days as you ramp up on our process and compliance standards.
- We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to be in front of clients, not just support from behind the scenes.
What You Will Do:
- Take on client meetings and service touchpoints as you ramp up — service check-ins, portal walkthroughs, and eventually full planning meetings.
- Serve as a friendly, competent point of contact for client questions between advisor meetings.
- Help prepare meeting materials, plan recommendations, and follow up on client action items.
- Manage client onboarding from signed agreement through first eMoney portal setup.
- Coordinate with custodians/platforms (eMoney, Envestnet, AdvicePay) on account opening, transfers, and servicing.
- Support scheduling, CRM (GoHighLevel), and automation workflows tied to the client journey.
- Help maintain compliance-accurate documentation and disclosures.
- Run life insurance illustrations and coordinate underwriting with carriers on client applications.
What You Bring:
- Active Series 7 & Series 66 (or 63+65) license required.
- Just a Series 65 license should also work initially, would be expected to get more licenses.
- Life & Health insurance license required (or willingness to obtain quickly).
- 3+ years in a financial services/advisory support role.
- Strong organizational skills — comfortable owning process and documentation for a growing book of business.
- Experience with financial planning software (eMoney or similar) and CRM tools (GoHighLevel, Salesforce, Redtail, etc.).
- Discretion and professionalism handling sensitive client financial information.
- A service mindset — you genuinely enjoy making clients' lives easier.
Bonus Points:
- Prior client-facing experience in a financial services or planning role.
- Experience supporting physicians, high-income W-2 professionals, or student loan planning.
- Familiarity with AdvicePay, Envestnet, or Zapier-based workflow automation.
- Ready to take on client meetings independently within your first few months.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary + performance bonus structure.
- Direct mentorship from a top-producing advisor.
- A genuine seat at the table in a practice that is scaling fast.
- Room to grow into more advisory responsibility over time.
