SUMMARY:Seeking to hire a full-time Senior QA Analyst / QA Engineer to be an important part of a team that supports state-of-the-art bridge management software used by government Departments of Transportation across North America to inventory, inspect, and manage their bridges. They will be expected to work with an energetic team that includes product owners, quality testers, civil engineers, and other software developers.Responsibilities:Write, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and mobile-responsive testingPerform exploratory testing to surface issues that scripted cases missLog clear, reproducible defects with steps, expected vs. actual results, environment details, and supporting evidenceInvestigate issues to root cause and triage severity/priority in partnership with engineering and productVerify fixes and run regression passes before release sign-offQualifications:Five or more years h substantial experience testing complex web applicationsStrong grasp of QA methodologies, the SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practiceProven ability to write thorough test cases from ambiguous or incomplete requirementsWorking knowledge of SQL for data setup and verificationFamiliarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira)Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiencesDesired:Accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1 AABasic security testing awareness (OWASP Top 10)API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalentComfort with browser developer tools for inspecting network traffic, console errors, and the DOMFamiliarity with transportation, bridge inspection, or other civil-infrastructure domainsRemote Workspace Requirements:The remote workspace to meet the following minimum standards.The employee must:Ensure the workspace is a dedicated work area.Ensure the workspace is safe and free from hazards.Ensure the workspace has adequate ventilation, lighting, and smoke detectors.Ensure the workspace is suitable for the effective performance of their job duties.Ensure the workspace is free from excessive noise and distraction.Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection.Applicants must include a Detailed Resume and 3 Professional References, along with the application.Applicants must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check, prior to hire in.Applicants MUST be a CURRENT Texas or Louisiana resident at time of application and hire in.Applicants must have a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
