• You will be building infrastructure and high-availability systems along with working closely with software engineering to bring our application to that infrastructure through continuous integration. • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative • Configure, deliver, and maintain high availability database systems – specifically MySQL, PostgreSQL, and RedShift. • Optimize the databases for analytical performance. • Perform routine maintenance, backups and health checks on database systems. • Support and perform the deployment of the hc1.com software to the Cloud. • Implement and maintain complex technical issues involving multiple technology stacks. • Provide documentation and training to Engineering and Operations stakeholders. • Support high-availability and scalable infrastructure, including on-call rotation • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, etc. • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.
