About Energend
Energend exists to make next-generation energy systems deployable at scale.
We bridge the gap between advanced energy technology and real-world infrastructure by designing modular, finance-ready energy systems that integrate best-in-class technologies and can be deployed rapidly in demanding environments.
Our focus is execution, not experimentation. We understand why energy projects fail—and we build systems, processes, and teams that prevent those failures. As we scale globally, we are committed to building a diverse, international team where talent and opportunity are not limited by geography.
The Role — Why This Exists
This role exists to reduce execution friction for Energend’s Executive Team.
As an early hire, you will help ensure that decisions turn into action, priorities are visible, and the company remains organized and prepared as it scales. You will work directly with founders and senior leaders to support company readiness across operations, governance, and coordination—without unnecessary bureaucracy.
This is not a passive admin role. It is a leverage role designed to help a fast-moving team operate with clarity, discipline, and momentum.
Core Responsibilities
1. Executive Operations & Follow-Through
Support the Executive Team with scheduling, preparation, and structured follow-ups
Maintain a clear record of decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines
Proactively follow up to ensure tasks move forward and escalate blockers when needed
Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, and execution trackers
Success looks like fewer dropped balls and faster movement from decision to execution.
2. Company Readiness & Governance Support
Maintain organized, up-to-date company documentation and internal records
Coordinate information required for audits, registrations, certifications, and filings
Support finance and legal teams by preparing materials and tracking requirements
Maintain trackers for compliance-related activities (without interpreting legal or financial matters)
This role supports readiness and organization—not legal or accounting decision-making.
3. Operational Coordination
Track internal priorities, milestones, and dependencies across workstreams
Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, or gaps and surface them early
Help build lightweight processes and documentation that enable scale
Maintain hygiene across shared tools, files, and trackers
4. Early People & Team Enablement
Support onboarding coordination and documentation for new hires
Maintain personnel records and onboarding checklists
Assist with internal communication and alignment across time zones
5. Colombia Expansion Support (Future Scope)
As Energend grows its presence in Colombia, this role may support:
Early setup activities for a Bogotá office
Vendor, facility, and local coordination
Support for local hiring logistics and employee experience initiatives
