Senior Electrical Estimator Location: Latin America strongly preferred Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (U.S. business hours) Salary: Negotiable based on skills and experience About Company and Role: A trusted U.S.-based electrical contractor providing top-tier commercial and residential electrical solutions. With a commitment to quality, efficiency, and professionalism, we are expanding our estimating team and seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator who brings deep technical knowledge, precision, and independence to the role. This is a long-term, remote position best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced but structured environment, values accuracy, and treats each estimate with care and ownership. The role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in Latin America to align with U.S. business hours. Key Responsibilities -Prepare accurate and timely estimates for both commercial and residential electrical projects -Interpret project plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications -Perform detailed material takeoffs and create cost breakdowns for labor, materials, overhead and equipment -Develop and support bid proposals; participate in bid reviews and clarifications -Track project changes and update estimates accordingly within 3 business days -Collaborate with the owner for updates, clarifications, and ongoing improvements -Maintain high attention to detail and deliver consistently error-free work -Participate in occasional revisions and value-engineering reviews -Own your deliverables and work independently with minimal oversight Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in electrical estimating (non-negotiable) -Strong background estimating both commercial and residential projects -Proficient in McCormick and/or Electric Ease estimating software -Fluent in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills -Able to work full U.S. business hours (8-hour shifts excluding lunch) -Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical, and organized -Strong sense of independence and ownership over work quality -Reliable internet, computer, and dedicated workspace -Being able to navigate on PDF, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project Manager and/or similar softwares Preferred Candidate Profile: -Based in Latin America for time zone and communication alignment -Professional, mature, and committed to long-term remote employment -Operates with a “business owner” mindset and pride in their craft
