We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist - Dermatology to join our growing team at The Coordinators! You would be working remotely with our client in the Dermatology space. If you’re passionate about discovering your potential, this is the heart of what we do. In this role, you will provide end-to-end billing support for a busy dermatology practice, helping ensure claims are submitted accurately, payments are posted on time, and accounts receivable workflows remain organized and proactive. You will act as a second set of eyes for the practice, helping prevent revenue leakage and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This is a highly hands-on administrative role that requires reliability, structure, and proactive communication. The ideal candidate brings strong medical billing experience (dermatology preferred), communicates with professionalism and clarity, is comfortable navigating Prime Clinical, eClinicalWorks (eCW), and/or AdvancedMD, and demonstrates strong organization, consistency, and high ethical standards while supporting efficient revenue cycle operations. Responsibilities: - Perform charge entry and insurance claims submission. - Manage accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up and collections workflows. - Post insurance and patient payments accurately within the system. - Review billing information to identify and correct missing or inaccurate demographic details. - Monitor claims for denials, rejections, or delays and work them through resolution. - Send patient statements and assist with collections-related workflows. - Maintain organized billing records and documentation across systems. - Collaborate with office staff to ensure scanned superbills and patient information are processed accurately. - Help identify workflow inefficiencies and reduce revenue leakage. Requirements and Qualifications: - Strong experience in medical billing in a US based dermatology practice. - Familiarity with Prime Clinical (strongly preferred). - Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) and/or AdvancedMD (preferred). - Experience with A/R follow-up, payment posting, and collections. - Strong understanding of insurance workflows, claims processing, and denial management. - Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication. - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability. - Tech-savvy and effective in a remote work environment. - High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information. - High ethical standards, professionalism, and respect in all patient interactions. - Willingness to learn, grow, and develop yourself professionally. Schedule: - Approximately 20 hours/week to start (with potential to grow full-time). Pay Range: - $700 /month part-time.
