This role is built for a true hunter someone who thrives in business development, is comfortable managing the full sales cycle, and brings deep industry knowledge and relationships.You’ll play a critical role in expanding Motivo’s footprint by developing new business, strengthening existing client partnerships, and delivering solutions across industrial cleaning, piping, and related services.What You’ll DoOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting through closeDrive new business development through cold outreach and networkingBuild and manage a strong territory strategyDevelop accurate and competitive quotes and proposalsMaintain and track pipeline activity in CRM systemsManage and grow existing customer relationshipsConduct virtual sales meetings (approx. 5 per week)Travel ~1 week per month to support client engagement and growthWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of sales experience in the refinery or petrochemical industryStrong preference for candidates with experience in:Industrial cleaningPiping or related servicesBackground with companies such as:Clean HarborsHydroChem (HPC)DeBuskEvergreenBadgerVortexInsituformSelling to refineries, total safety, pump companies Herc rental, sunbelt, united rain for rent, malco viori, structural technologies - civil apache brand safewayProven ability to independently manage a territory and pipelineStrong communication skills, including presenting via virtual platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)Highly self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal oversightCompensationBase Salary: $85,000Commission Structure:2% on new business (target: $5M)1% on existing business (target: $5M)On-Target Earnings:2025: ~$175,000 (impacted by market conditions)2026 Expected: $200,000–$225,000+Preferred QualificationsIndustry experience is prioritized over formal education (“School of Hard Knocks” mindset)Proficiency in:Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordCRM systems and digital sales toolsAbility to operate effectively in a remote environmentAccess to a dedicated home office (support available if needed)RequirementsAbility to pass random drug screeningsMust pass background check and be eligible for:DISA program clearanceTWIC CardWhy MotivoHigh-autonomy, high-impact role with direct influence on company growthStrong earning potential tied to performanceFlexible, remote-first environmentOpportunity to build and own a meaningful territory
