Requirements and responsibilities

About usFounded in 2019 and part of Y Combinator's 2020 cohort, Photoroom is the leading visual solution for e-commerce.We've raised Series B funding and reached 300+ million users worldwide, processing over 5 billion images annually and serving both small businesses and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our mobile app, web platform, and API.We're a remote-friendly team of 100+ passionate builders giving e-commerce businesses superpowers to create visuals that help them grow, making the hardest parts of selling online disappear. We focus on craft, innovation, and collaboration, creating exceptional impact for e-commerce businesses worldwide. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the self-serve product experience for our SMB customers: small to medium brands selling on Shopify and beyond. The proposition for this segment is unbuilt, the squad is yours to shape, and you'll own the slice of ARR that comes with it. Working closely with engineers, designers, and AI researchers, you'll decide what gets built, why, and how it shipsCompensation: UK: £85k-£110k paCompensation: Europe: €80k - €105kLocation: Remote across Europe with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)About the roleOwn a real slice of the self-serve product. From idea to shipped feature, you will build and execute the roadmap that solves problems for our users.Define the problem before the solution. Sharpen the user problem, then partner with design and engineering to ship work that feels effortless.Turn AI capabilities into products people want. Work hand-in-hand with our researchers and engineers to convert new model capabilities into shipped features that move usage and revenue.Stay close to the user. Talk to e-commerce sellers every week, and feed what you hear directly into roadmap decisions.Use data to decide, not to justify. Pull and interpret data yourself, form hypotheses, measure what shipped, and call what's next. You won’t need to wait around for someone else to run the query.About YouYou've shipped products you can defend in detail. Five+ years as a PM, with multiple launches where you can name the user problem, what you owned personally vs. the team, and the measured outcome. You've built B2B SaaS for self-serve customers. You know the mechanics of self-serve growth, retention, and pricing, not just enterprise sales cycles.AI has reshaped how you work. You use Claude or equivalent every day, for prototyping, testing with users, or automating the parts of the job that used to fill your calendar. The value you bring sits in strategy and direction, not in writing tickets. You have demonstrable product taste. You can show specific work where the details matter and explain the calls you made, including the ones you'd make differently now.You create clarity from ambiguity. Given a fuzzy problem, you take action rather than waiting for direction: you structure it, decide what matters, and move. You're data-fluent. You pull, interpret, and challenge data yourself, and use it to form a point of view rather than confirm one.You thrive in small teams with high autonomy. You can ship without being managed, and can operate in a fully remote, async-first environment that offers no scaffolding around you.Nice to have: experience building creative tools or any product where craft and visual quality matter; an understanding of photography or videography; entrepreneurial experience (you've started, built, or run something).Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and BelongingWe're committed to enabling everyone to feel included and valued at work. We believe our company and culture are strongest when composed of diverse experiences and backgrounds. That's also why we have flexible working hours, trust people to work remotely, and extended parental leave. All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to age, color, family, gender identity, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
