Shipt, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing Data Pipelines and building services that collect messages from our next generation services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Management, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: - Develop Data Pipelines within the Data Warehouse team - Build services that subscribe and collect messages from next generation services - Collaborate with other members of the Engineering organizations - Utilize SQL and tuning in an analytic query environment (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) - Use a programming language (e.g., Python or R) for data engineering tasks - Work with streaming or Message Queuing Systems (e.g., Kafka) - Leverage streaming APIs (e.g., Spark) for data processing - Apply technologies and design patterns in a web-scale data environment
