Responsibilities

Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer with a strong background in sheet metal and plastic component design to support the development of gaming equipment and related mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end mechanical design process—from concept through detailing and validation—ensuring components meet quality, manufacturability, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for gaming equipment. * Work extensively with sheet metal and plastic parts across enclosures, chassis, and user-interface components. * Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent tools. * Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, and industrial design teams to ensure seamless product integration. * Perform tolerance analysis, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews. * Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities. * Ensure mechanical designs comply with all relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. * 3–7 years of hands-on mechanical design experience, preferably in gaming, consumer electronics, or electro-mechanical systems. * Strong experience with sheet metal and injection-molded plastic design. * Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or NX. * Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection. * Familiarity with manufacturing processes, prototyping, and vendor coordination.
