As a Senior Backend Software Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the backend architecture of our client, an industry leading talent marketplace platform. Your expertise will drive the technological decisions, development, and maintenance of our software, ensuring a stellar developer experience and the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that meet global demands. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to convert business requirements into technical specifications. - Design and develop applications utilizing PHP (8.3+), Laravel - Know when and why to use DDD. - Optimize API calls for maximum performance and scalability. - Adhere to strict security and data protection standards. - Validate the technical feasibility of PRD documents and translate those requirements in engineering practices. - Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues. - Collaborate with the team to manage deployments and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines. - Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance while promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development. - Proficient in PHP and a PHP Framework (preferably Laravel) - Comprehensive understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON API, and OpenAPI. - Proven experience with Agile development methodologies, capable of excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities with a capability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive attitude. - Experience with devops is highly desirable.
