We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team as a Principal Consultant. This fully client-facing role requires technical excellence, leadership in database consulting, and strong communication skills. You will begin by supporting a few existing clients and gradually expand to manage up to five client environments.
Responsibilities
* Design, create, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and other tools as needed.
* Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
* Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Streamline reporting processes and workflows for efficiency and scalability.
* Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized solutions.
* Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations.
* Train end-users on how to interpret reports and utilize reporting tools effectively.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
* Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
* Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including interactive dashboards and data models.
* Solid knowledge of MongoDB.
* Proven ETL build experience.
* Knowledge in SQL or other query languages is preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Ability to think critically and take action without direction.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
