Responsibilities

Can you take a beautiful fountain, a glowing fire pit, or a handcrafted planter and turn it into scroll-stopping YouTube content? If so, you might be the perfect fit for us. We’re The Blissful Place, a U.S.-based brand that celebrates outdoor living — from elegant fountains and handcrafted planters to cozy fire pits and serene garden decor. We’re looking to build and grow our YouTube presence with consistent, visually polished content that reflects a high-end, calming aesthetic. Hours are flexible — you’re free to work on your own schedule as long as deadlines are met and communication remains clear. A brief weekly Zoom check-in is required to stay aligned and keep the workflow smooth. We’re looking for someone who’s creative but thrives within a defined structure, enjoys clean workflows, and works well within a shared creative vision. If you prefer full creative freedom with minimal input, this role likely won’t be the right fit. But if you appreciate clarity, collaboration, and working with a polished brand — we’d love to work with you. Requirements: * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Excellent writing skills to craft engaging, clear, and SEO-friendly titles and descriptions. * Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva. * Thumbnail design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools. * Solid understanding of YouTube Studio, Shorts formatting, and SEO best practices (TubeBuddy or VidIQ). * 2+ years of experience working with YouTube content. * Reliable internet connection and responsive communication. * Comfortable joining a brief weekly Zoom check-in (camera on). Responsibilities: This role involves the following: Working with 1 already-edited long-form video, where you'll: * Write 2 SEO-friendly titles and a well-structured description. * Conduct keyword and hashtag research. * Add tags, hashtags, cards, end screens, and playlists. * Design 2 thumbnails for A/B testing (mobile-optimized). * Upload and schedule the video in YouTube Studio. You’ll also create 5 Shorts per week (about 20 per month) by repurposing clips from the long-form video. This includes: * Selecting key moments. * Writing strong hooks (especially for the first 1–2 seconds). * Adding light motion or text overlays. * Choosing music from our Envato Elements library. * Applying branding (logo + tagline). * Writing short, engaging titles (repurposed from long-form captions). * Uploading and scheduling each Short. This role also includes light monthly channel upkeep — such as organizing playlists and keeping the layout polished and viewer-friendly.
