Responsibilities
🔵 General requirements:
■ Proactive communication.
■ Understand user requirements written in JIRA tickets and how that translates to To-dos.
■ Provide LOEs and understand the scope of the request.
■ Provide the status of the work.
■ Properly and timely communicate blockers.
■ Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
■ Thorough dev testing of the developed code.
■ Use GIT and GitHub to create branches, merge/compare PRs and commit code.
■ Ask questions, and communicate status and blockers.
■ Design and implementation (i.e., take the proper steps to resolve issues or implement the story).
■ Familiarity with development best practices, including story pointing, t-shirt sizing, code reviews, etc.
■ Databases / MySQL.
🔵 Responsibilities:
■ Write a complex SELECT SQL with LEFT JOIN and JOIN on multiple tables.
■ Integrate Python code w/ SQL.
■ Write UPDATE, DELETE, and INSERT statements.
■ Identify performance issues.
■ Understand database table structure, i.e., Primary/Foreign Key, Column Types, and Indexes.
■ Insert/Update: Understanding transactions.
■ Creating/Reading views and stored procedures.
■ FE / React, Redux, API consumption.
■ Follow the logic with existing code.
■ Integrate React code with APIs (State Mgmt and Redux).
■ Has worked on several UI components: Forms, Tables, and Layouts.
■ Image Rendering.
■ Implemented Security - Login, restrict features/pages based on Role/Permission.
■ CSS/Styling.
■ Ability to style a page, element alignment, and image scaling.
■ Translate Figmas to CSS
■ Charts - Implemented Line Graphs, Bar, and Pie Charts.
■ Manual Testing - Ability to Test UI, understand business requirements, edge cases, etc.
■ Automated Testing - Unit Test: Understanding "what" to test.
■ Cypress/Selenium experience
■ BE / Python (or Object-Oriented Language), REST API creation.
■ Ability to Step through code (i.e., debugging issues).
■ Prior experience writing REST APIs.
■ Third-Party Integration (i.e., authentication, request/response).
■ Demonstrated understanding of how to read 3rd party API docs and match them to business requirements.
■ MySQL Integration.
■ Create CRUD endpoints that integrate with a Data Source.
🔵 Security:
■ Understanding access token security.
■ Using Roles/Permissions to restrict access to endpoints
■ Authorization, Permissions, User-to-Company association
■ Understanding Layered Architecture ■ View, Service, DataAccessLayer
● AWS.
■ Navigate around AWS Console and review CloudFormation Logs.
■ Integrate code (i.e., React or Python) with AWS.
■ IAM Roles/Permissions.
■ Prior experience using S3 and Cognito in production apps.
