What You'll Do As an eCommerce Full Stack Engineering Consultant, you'll join a team of dedicated, experienced professionals working on designing and implementing modern eCommerce systems for our enterprise customers. You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about modern web technologies/design patterns and can turn difficult problems into creative solutions designed to scale. You’ll focus on the following: Building robust solutions - You’ll learn new technology stacks, help define and shape the final technical direction for our projects, and work closely with other members of the engineering team to deliver a high-quality product. Each engineer on our team plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our customer’s initiatives, and you will see the importance of your work. Software development - You'll be a key contributor in the implementation of our customer’s eCommerce flagship using modern technologies and architectural concepts. You’ll work across the stack engineering the front end, building client APIs, and integrating the two. You’ll contribute to large pieces of functionality in the final product, and the code you write will power web applications that millions of people across the globe will use, generating hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars in revenue for our customers. Integrated team collaboration - You'll work closely with business analysts, creative and experienced designers, quality assurance team members, and other engineers to accomplish your goals. Requirements You'll be a good fit for this role if you have experience with the following: - Experience with modern front-end languages like React or Angular - Built headless web applications and REST and/or GraphQL clients for API consumption - Undergraduate or comparable knowledge in Computer Science or formal training using Java - 2+ years of professional web application development experience We’d also like to see (but don’t require) hands-on experience with the following: Building REST and/or GraphQL APIs using Java-based technologies such as Spring
