Requirements and responsibilities


🚀 Requirements: ◽ Must have experience in a Windows server environment. ◽ Familiarity with supporting and troubleshooting Windows server and server-based applications. ◽ Strong analytical and testing skills are needed. ◽ Strong written and oral communication skills. ◽ Willingness to learn new technologies. ◽ Familiar with SharePoint 2010 and 2013 administration and light development. ◽ Familiar with upgrading applications and servers. ◽ Prior experience developing with .NET or VB is a plus but not required. ◽ Must be willing to work after hours and on weekends if needed (will have VPN access to work from home after hours when needed). ◽ Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow and notification processes is a plus. ◽ Experience supporting PeopleSoft 8. x to 9.2 is a huge plus. ◽ Ability to work in a team environment. ◽ Must have a basic understanding of Accounting practices, HR, and Payroll processes. ◽ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred. 🚀 Responsibilities: ◽ Knowledgeable in all Windows server application support phases, including technical analysis, installations, upgrades, testing, deployment, validation, and post-implementation support. ◽ Participate in technical discussions to help in decision making ◽ Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and document business requirements ◽ Provide production support for all PeopleSoft applications HR and FIN from the server side. ◽ PS cluster support (Web front-ends, Application servers, Process Scheduler). ◽ Support a multi-tiered environment (DEV, STG, PRD, BLD, etc.). ◽ Support the application migration process in a multi-tiered environment. ◽ Experience executing scripts using PowerShell and similar scripting tools. ◽ SharePoint server maintenance and support. ◽ UC4 workloads/job plan support and maintenance. ◽ Support for enterprise ETL processes. ◽ Provide support for interfaces that use the PS data. Typically extracts or files/processes are sent to other GC systems or 3rd party vendors. ◽ Ability to troubleshoot problems and improve processes to increase the level and quality of customer service. ◽ Identify streamlining possibilities. ◽ Proactively work towards process improvement.
