SinaLite is a family owned business which has been operating since 1999. What started as a small 1,200 square-foot print shop which operated a single small AB-Dick printer has blossomed into a company of 150+ employees, containing several million dollars worth of printing equipment, and achieving a yearly sales revenue of 30+ million with over 20,000+ customers across North America. We are continuing to rapidly grow, opening up a new production facility and expanding further into new product categories.
The Press Feeder is responsible for directly assisting the Press operator in producing all offset press projects in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. This is a full-time position and hours will vary depending on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating and maintaining the feeder section of the Press to produce jobs as noted on the work order/job tickets while interfacing with the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and the Press Operator.
- Ensure paper is loaded into the feeding-end for running jobs, as well as maintain paper supply throughout the job run.
- Make appropriate adjustments to plates and cylinders which includes but not limited to mounting, removing and cleaning items at end of the press run.
- Perform routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
- Mix and fill ink foundation and control colour.
- Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment; be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets regarding chemicals used.
- Other duties as assigned.
