We are currently seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer based in CDMX or Bogotá, with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle Cloud (OCI), VDI architectures, and modern technologies like AI and Advanced Analytics. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales and delivery teams to shape high-value technical solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and translate them into technical solution architectures across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
* Conduct discovery sessions and lead technical presentations, demos, and workshops with enterprise customers.
* Design hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, incorporating compute, storage, identity, security, and data services.
* Build proof-of-concept (PoC) environments and technical proposals aligned to client business goals.
* Lead the development of RFP/RFI responses, technical write-ups, and effort estimations.
* Recommend solutions around VDI, AI/ML platforms, and cloud-based analytics ecosystems (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, OCI Data Lakehouse).
* Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, addressing objections and enabling successful handoff to the delivery team.
* Stay updated with certifications and trends across cloud platforms and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles with a strong client-facing component.
* Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, Azure AD), AWS (core services, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda), OCI (compute, storage, networking, data services), and VDI (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware).
* Experience in AI & Analytics, including machine learning, cloud-native analytics, and data pipelines.
* Certifications in Azure, AWS, or OCI at Associate/Professional level are a plus.
* Language skills: Spanish (native) and English (advanced) for technical presentations and documentation.
* Consulting skills: business acumen, storytelling, client engagement, and solution mapping.
