Responsibilities


This role is seeking a senior-level Business Analyst with 10+ years of hands-on business analysis experience who can serve as the bridge between TEA stakeholders and software development teams throughout the SDLC.The ideal candidate will have strong experience eliciting and translating business needs into clear, well-structured system requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and mockups, along with a proven ability to analyze and improve business processes and facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders.They should be highly organized and articulate, comfortable managing requirements and change control in Jira and Modern Requirements, and capable of mentoring other BAs on best practices.Experience with TEA, another education agency, or an education-focused organization/vendor would be valuable, as would experience supporting complaint or case management workflows.Experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirementsExperience with software development life cycles (SDLCs)Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement experienceExperience developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practicesExperience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practicesDemonstrated strong communication and facilitation skillsDemonstrated strong writing and organization skillsDocumented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"Documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements"Documented experience working for or closely with TEA OR a federal/state/local education agency OR ed vendorExperience supporting complaint and case management workflows, including intake, investigation, and resolution
