The role will report directly to the Regional Manager, Product Services, NAMER & APAC. Qualified candidates can work remotely in Japan.Position SummaryThe role of the Sr. Solutions Architect, Security is to assist in developing and growing the business of Security Services related to ERP implementations (Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.,) for Rimini Street customers. The position has the responsibility for planning, implementing and supporting security solutions related to the products that Rimini Street supports. Evaluate the current client’s IT landscape, in order to assist with deployment architecture and project plan to cover the entire landscape for security and compliance.The Sr. Solutions Architect, Security Services will be responsible for successful implementation and verification of the security solutions following the deployment project plan. The Sr. Solutions Architect, Security is responsible to collaborate with Global Support delivery teams for post-implementation support of these security products.The position will also be responsible to work with the Security Products research and development team to assist with the efficacy testing, product implementation strategy and planning and be responsible for the assisting with the documentation related to software installations, configuration, troubleshooting and fine-tuning.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstallation, configuration and troubleshooting of security products under the guidance of Senior Solutions Architects.Utilize the repeatable project plans and best practices to manage the onboarding projects and contribute feedback for process improvement.Document various client implementation configurations and work with the GSD team to triage and provide the Level 1/2 resolutions for the support cases for security products.Serve as the Co-owner of security services projects under the guidance of Senior Solutions Architects and be a liaison between the Onboarding Project Management and GSS teams.Manage the security products related support cases for proper and timely updates in accordance to the SLAs for various clients.Develop and nurture a talent inflow for company´s managed services resource needs.Participate in the R&D activities to perform the feasibility studies of new products once identified and configured by the Senior Solutions architects in the GSS team.Manage the product issue log and work with the Senior Solutions architects to provide the needed assistance for troubleshooting of product specific issues.Create and manage the status updates for project plans utilizing the templates for all security products related projects for general product onboarding, professional services and managed services maintaining Rimini Street´s high standard SLAs and quality.Self-training and self-study for achieving certifications in the various Security related trends and technologies.EducationBachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experienceSpecialization in IT Security, Forensics, IT Management will be a plusExperience10+ years relevant experience with IT procedures and security policies.10+ years’ experience with DataCenter Operations both in house and outsourced5+ years’ experience both in Security product implementation and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of multiple databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.,) and applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDeep working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processesQualification & Skills Knowledge in securing various tiers of technology stacks e.g., network, application servers, database servers, etc.,Installation and configuration experience of leading security software (McAfee, TrendMicro, Imperva, F5 ASM, Palo Alto or other Web Application/Next-Gen firewall products)Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solvingPassionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with ClientsProven experience as a key contributor for various IT projects, ensuring overall success of professional and managed servicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with installation and configuration of new products following the product documentation and best practicesGood understanding of Industry leading security solutions and implementations architecturesExperience with security in public clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP as well as private cloud providers with global and local scaleExperience in following managed services or professional services offering and meeting contractual SLAs.
