ABOUT PROJECTOur client is one of the leading U.S. investment banks. The project focuses on building a platform that automates data transformations using DBT, generating tables, views, and data pipelines. The solution processes queued requests and executes DBT workflows in isolated and production environments.REQUIREMENTS4-5 years of commercial experience with PythonStrong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency (async/await)Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQLExperience with Camunda or other BPMN/workflow orchestration toolsUnderstanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, HashiCorp stack)Experience with multi-tenant applications and tenant isolation conceptsGood understanding of Kubernetes (pods, autoscaling, resource management)Experience writing unit and end-to-end testsWillingness to learn and work with Java; previous Java experience will be a strong advantageExperience with DBT will be a plusUpper-Intermediate English or higherRESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirementsAnalyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteriaEvaluate and coordinate tasks’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project ManagerApply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutionsStay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certificationsParticipate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main projectWHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKSClose cooperation with a customerChallenging tasksCompetence developmentTeam of professionalsDynamic environment with low level of bureaucracyELEKS is a custom software development company.
