This role functions as an extension of the in-clinic care team, providing real-time clinical, technical, and sales support to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and a seamless care experience. The provider performs a full scope of audiology services remotely, replicating the in-person experience through virtual care. Key Responsibilities Remote Clinical Care & Patient Management Conduct patient evaluations, consultations, and follow-up care via videoSupport and guide in-clinic staff through hearing assessments and testing procedures remotelyInterpret test results and provide accurate clinical diagnosesRecommend appropriate hearing aids and treatment plans based on patient needsProvide patient counseling on hearing loss, device use, expectations, and careDeliver ongoing support for adjustments, concerns, and patient satisfactionRemote Sales & Treatment Support Guide patients through the hearing aid selection and purchasing process via videoPartner with clinic staff to support case acceptance and improve conversion ratesEducate patients on product options, features, and benefits in a clear, patient-friendly mannerProvide remote verification support and ensure proper device fitting and performanceTechnical Troubleshooting & Support Troubleshoot hearing aid, software, and connectivity issues in real timeSupport clinics and patients with remote device programming and adjustmentsAssist with resolving sound quality concerns and device performance issuesProvide technical guidance to clinic staff on equipment and workflowsClinic & Staff Collaboration Work closely with clinic teams to support patient flow and ensure efficient appointments Act as a clinical resource for providers and staff needing audiology expertiseProvide on-demand or scheduled support for clinics without on-site audiologistsTrain and coach clinic staff on best practices for remote care deliveryProgram Development & Process Improvement Develop and refine workflows for remote testing, consultations, and sales processesIdentify opportunities to improve patient experience and operational efficiencyAssist in implementing standardized procedures for tele-audiology servicesMaintain high standards of clinical quality, compliance, and documentationCredentialing, Compliance & Billing Support Participate in insurance credentialing processes as required to enable billing for audiology servicesMaintain active licensure and credentials necessary to provide and bill for services across applicable states and payersEnsure accurate and timely clinical documentation to support billing and reimbursement Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and telehealth billing requirementsAdditional Duties Provide real-time audiology support across multiple clinic locations as neededEnsure all services meet clinical, ethical, and regulatory standardsAdapt to evolving technology and telehealth best practicesNationsBenefits is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
