Our compensation structure provides a significant bonus for achieving and exceeding team objectives.Note: 30-40% travel is required for this role, with some week-to-week varianceJob DescriptionKey Activities for the Solution Consultant include:Leading consultative conversations to understand customer needs and conceptualizing which needs can be met through our software, services, or ecosystem.Presenting demonstrations tailored to customer needs, from “showcase” style overviews to functional deep dives, in front of a range of audiences: front-line personnel to senior executivesServing as a subject matter expert in the core operations of a Property and Casualty InsurerIdentifying new platform requirements and working with Product Management to design solutions for those requirementsResponding in writing to questions and requests for information from analysts and prospectsSupporting team enablement on new features and key deal-related takeaways for purposes of ongoing knowledge sharing and best practice-developmentNecessary Skills and Expertise:Practical experience with Guidewire PolicyCenterKnowledge and experience in P&C InsurancePersuasive presentation skills and ability to handle tough conversationsEffective and competent writing skillsAbility to work across teams to devise strategies and solutions to meet deal-specific and broader industry needsHunger to learn and constantly improveA resourceful self-starter who takes initiative to get things done and meet tight deadlinesHelpful Knowledge and Experience:Familiarity with AI platforms and conceptsExperience in Pre-Sales or other customer-facing roleExperience building out configurations of policy administration, pricing and rating systemsFamiliarity with enterprise scale systems and where Guidewire solutions fit in the system landscapeFamiliarity with cloud computing and SaaS industry trendsThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000 - . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan.
