Moniepoint is looking for a Data Analyst - Fraud to join its data and risk teams. In this role, you will investigate fraud attacks, quantify their impact, and present clear findings to drive mitigation responses. You will build and maintain dashboards to monitor fraud trends, propose rule-based mitigations, and collaborate with fraud operations, engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate analytical insights into active risk prevention.Requirements4+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst specializing in fraud, risk, or financial services (or equivalent exceptional accomplishments).Advanced proficiency with SQL for writing complex queries across large datasets.Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and Business Intelligence platforms (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Superset, etc.).Baseline exposure to Python or scripting for data manipulation and analysis.Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Experience with data governance, Git/version control, or advanced Python scripting is a plus.Willingness to complete a recruitment process that includes a technical take-home SQL task.Attractive salary + pension, health insurance, & annual bonus.
