The Role:Offchain is looking for a Senior PR & Communications Manager to act as the primary architect of our global communications strategy. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, managing external PR teams, media relations, and developing comprehensive PR strategies.You will develop thought leadership initiatives, secure speaking opportunities at industry conferences, and organise executive communications to ensure our leadership team is well-briefed for opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate Offchain's vision and values across various platforms and to diverse audiences.What you'll do: Craft and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on media relations, executive thought leadership, and ecosystem growthOversee external PR agencies and partners globally, setting clear KPIs and ensuring consistent delivery on brand goalsEstablish and nurture deep relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers within the blockchain, crypto, and broader technology sectorsGenerate high-quality content across diverse channels, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and executive briefing materialsAct as a strategic advisor to leadership, preparing them for media interviews, keynote speeches, and industry panelsWork closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and technical accuracySpearhead crisis communications and proactively develop frameworks to mitigate potential reputational risksMonitor and analyse PR metrics to optimise performance and report on share of voice and sentiment to key stakeholdersWhat you'll need: Extensive experience in PR and communications, with at least 3 years of deep immersion in the blockchain and crypto landscapeAbility to translate complex technical concepts (such as Layer 2 scaling) into accessible narratives for various audiencesEstablished network of media contacts within the Web3 space and mainstream business/tech pressExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility in tone and formatDemonstrated experience in managing high-stakes communications and safeguarding organisational reputation in a 24/7 news cycleTrack record of developing and implementing PR initiatives that directly contribute to long-term business growthTeam player who thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced environment and can provide calm, strategic counsel under pressureBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related fieldPerks:Remote-first global workforce + soon to open NY officeAnnual company offsite (last year, Bahamas!)Opportunity for subsidized attendance to industry conferencesMedical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)401k retirement plan + company match (US only)Home office set up / ergonomic equipment matching programWhy Offchain?Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem.
